Ringing The Changes
#132. Happy New Year
As we stumble and stagger our way into another new year it’s time to make some resolutions for where this little website is heading…..
- Better Writing. A website is not worthwhile without good content. I am already enrolled on a course to improve this aspect of Fazzinchi.co.uk. So, I resolve to get better at this.
- More Content, More Regularly. Here’s the “Posts Per Month” breakdown for 2006: Jan = 11, Feb = 16, Mar = 9, Apr = 4, May = 5, Jun = 14, Jul = 15, Aug = 8, Sep = 12, Oct = 13, Nov = 14 and Dec = 11. So, I resolve to post at least 20 times per month (and daily if possible).
- Increase Traffic. We don’t get many comments posted round these parts, and my Feedburner count is a rather pitiful “1″ at the moment. So, I resolve to include more links to other like-minded blogs, introduce social networking tools, utilise Web2.0 tricks and standards, and include some new kinds of posts rather than just simple reviews.
- Look Good. Cosmetic changes and tweaks are always being made and I have a few more minor amendments in the pipeline that I hope to implement soon. So, I resolve to keep this place looking lovely.
- Coming Soon. Christmas and television go together rather well and so it may seem strange to have gone the last twelve days with no activity round here. Fear not, my “12 Days of Christmas Telly” reviews are coming right up.

Happy New Year from your (lets hope only for the time being) other reader. I’m looking forward to seeing some more activity around these parts…

Cheers, Martin!! As you can see, the first three of my “12 Days of Christmas Telly” are up, so we’re making a good start. More on my Fazzinchi.co.uk wishlist too (while I remember)….
- a tag cloud in addition to (or instead of) the catgory cloud
- an updated “About Me” section
- a contact form
- some new “pages”… “TV Diary”, and “LISTeria”
- a more comprehensive link list

[...] In the two months of 2007 I have been making efforts to keep on top of this little ‘ole website and I thought it might be worthwhile to partake of a quick spot of naval gazing by looking back at the New Year’s Resolutions that I made and see what progress is being made. [...]
