It must be one of those genetic dysfunctions that leads me to suffer from that fan-ish compulsion to buy every available product in a sequence. If I like a musician, I will need every one of his or her CDs on my shelf, or if I buy a book and I enjoy it I’ll need all that author’s books and then carefully arrange them (yes, in order) on copious shelving around the house.
