So, resolutions. The curse of the blogger. They’ve caught me out before on occasions when I’ve previously pledged to either “write here every day”, or “review this or that”, or even “redesign the site”. However, this year the object of these public promises is to set myself some achievable online goals. (I have personal resolutions in addition to these that I won’t bore you with here, ‘cos I seriously doubt that you want to know how much exercise I am planning on doing). So, here goes for ‘09…

Christmas Review #7 of 12

The Christmas reviews continue (despite the fact that all seems like months ago now) and, even though the dreaded flu struck me down over the holidays and forced the cancelation of plans for a big party to see in the New Year, it did give me the opportunity to curl up (with nothing stronger than a hot Ribena), huddled under a duvet and to enjoy the delights of Jools Holland’s Annual Hootenanny as the clock passed midnight. Christmas Review #7 of 12

This past New Year celebration was one of those events where the best laid plans just didn’t come to fruition.  We were planning on heading out to a local drinking establishment for an evening of posh frocks, tuxedos and too much bubbly but the excesses of the previous weeks and a fairly horrendous weather forecast led us to a last minute change of heart.  The Other Viewer and I battoned down the hatches, cracked open a few bottles of vino and had a night in front of the box.

New Year

#132. Happy New Year

As we stumble and stagger our way into another new year it’s time to make some resolutions for where this little website is heading…..

  1. Better Writing. A website is not worthwhile without good content. I am already enrolled on a course to improve this aspect of Fazzinchi.co.uk. So, I resolve to get better at this.
