[Even though it's a couple of days late, here's my Doctor Who review for Journey's End.  I'll add the pictures to the review later on (which won't matter for those RSS readers among you) but which brightens up my blog no end.  Please feel free to add your comments and thoughts?]

Hello dear reader(s). Well, how was it for you?  9.4 million people tuned in to Saturday night’s Doctor Who finale to be treated to sixty-five minutes of wonderful, sci-fi nonsense.  The abundance of newspaper articles across the whole gamut of broadsheets as well as the more typical tabloid fodder, plus guest appearances on TV shows and even features on the Six O’Clock news itself led to a kind of Who-Shot-JR

DW3 Sound a

Problem Solving

A three-parter in new Doctor Who is unheard of, although the older fans among us may remember the occasional 6 x 25-minute stories of old that equate to much the same duration. The result is that “The Sound of Drums” sits a little uncomfortably between the opening shocks of “Utopia” and the almost inevitable thrills and spills of the finale this evening in “The Last Of The Time Lords”. DW3 Human Nature b

John Smith, Gone But Not Forgotten

I thought that there was, quite simply, no way that “The Family Of Blood” could live up to the greatness of part one of the story, “Human Nature” that was shown last week. The second half of all bar one of the two-parters that have graced our screens over the last three years have been a little bit weaker than its preceeding installment. Additionally, Human Nature was such a fantastic 45-minutes of TV that it was always going to be nigh-on-impossible to top. I was ever so wrong.
